Typical water well inspection:
- Run water from an outside source for 35 minutes checking the gallons per minute at the begininning, every 10 minutes and at the end of the 35 minutes
- Inspect the well casing for height above grade, type of well casing cap, proper drainage around well casing and dimensions from foundation, property lines, sewer lines and other items demmed necessary
- Inspect the holding tanks
- Draw a water sample and submit to an approved lab for bacteria testing. Typically, lab results are available 24 hours after submital
- Research and provide any public water well documentaion
